GLIDDEN PAINT

Logo, branding, and packaging for interior paint company Glidden. System includes gallon size, half gallon, touchup packs, paint samplers, wall trim, and brushes. The goal was to present the company as a confident and charming brand that is geared towards the more domestic and feminine audience. The new paint container is simple and ergonomic: a narrower body allows for easier gripping while a rounded edge allows for a neater pour with less dripping. The lid snaps firmly on and off. I was also inspired by wallpaper and mouldings in architecture for the graphics. Logo is reminiscent of a signature and also of the fluidity of dripping paint.
